About the Author
R.L. Stine was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1943. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. Stay Out of the Basement is his second book in the immensely popular Goosebumps series. He is also called Jovial Bob Stine and is known as the Stephen King of children's literature.
